About

This is a reference board about We The North, a Canadian market operating in English and French. It writes down what people expect from it and what the underlying mechanism actually does. It is published independently and has no relationship with the market.

What it does not do

• It does not monitor anything. No address is probed, timed or tested, now or ever.
• It does not sell anything, carry advertising or take part in any affiliate arrangement.
• It cannot act on your account, your order, your ticket or your money.
• It publishes no reviews, no ratings, no trust badges and no statistics it did not measure, which is all of them.
• It does not cover products, sourcing or anything about avoiding detection.

What it is for

Most losses described in public discussion follow the same pattern. Somebody expected a system to behave the way ordinary services behave, it behaved the way it was built to behave instead, and the gap cost them. That gap is describable in advance, which is the entire reason this board exists.

The 27 entries are grouped into six sections. Each one names an expectation, states what actually happens, and explains the mechanism that produces the difference. Nothing is graded and no expectation is treated as stupid, because they are all reasonable given the model people arrive with.

Standing

This page has no special standing and neither does any other page publishing a we the north darknet market address. Search position is not evidence. A confident tone is not evidence. The only thing that would settle a question about an address is a signature checked against a key you already held, and that is true of this site exactly as much as of any other.

What can reasonably be checked about a source is whether it stays consistent, whether it explains its reasoning, and whether it declines to claim things it cannot know. This board declines to claim the most popular thing of all, which is that a particular address is working right now.

On the addresses

Three are carried, on the addresses page and on the home page, with a copy button each and no labels. They are not ranked, not numbered and not described as primary or backup, because this board has no basis for any of those distinctions and inventing one would be a small lie that people would act on.

Language

The market itself is bilingual, which is a fact about it worth knowing when a login screen appears in French. This site is written in English only, and there is no plan to translate it, because a half maintained translation of a page about precision would be worse than none.

How it is built

Plain server rendered pages, one stylesheet, one small script that copies an address to your clipboard. No trackers, no third party requests, no fonts fetched from anywhere else, nothing that loads while you read. A page about being careful with addresses has no business pulling code from hosts you did not choose to visit.

The layout is deliberately plain. Everything is one monospace family on a white column, which is the look of an old text board rather than a product page. That is a preference rather than a claim about security, and it has the side effect that the pages are small and load quickly over a slow connection.

Changes

Entries get rewritten when the mechanism described in them stops being accurate, and removed when they stop being true at all. Nothing is left up with a correction note attached, because a page that argues with itself is harder to read than a page that was fixed. There is no changelog, since a public log of edits on a site like this would be a list of what to distrust rather than a useful record.
