What is missing and why

There is no status column, no uptime figure and no last checked date. This is not an oversight. This site has never connected to any of these addresses and will not, so any status here would be invented, and an invented status is worse than none because it gets believed.

Even an honest check would not help you much. It would describe a request made from a different machine, over a different circuit, at an earlier moment. Your own attempt right now is better evidence than anything a page could have stored an hour ago. When your attempt fails, the error text is worth reading because it usually names the layer that gave up, and the layer is rarely the market.

How to keep a set

1. Copy all three, not the one that worked. A single address gives you no way to tell rotation apart from a dead site.
2. Store them outside the browser, in a plain file you control. The browser is built to forget things, and bookmarks are a list of your interests under your own user account.
3. Write down where you got them and the date. A set with no provenance is a claim with no author.
4. Never retype one. Copy, paste, and glance at the last few characters before you press enter.
5. When the set stops working, go back to the source rather than searching fresh. Searching in a hurry is how bad addresses spread.

What a copied address does not prove

Nothing about who holds the key for it. That is true of every page publishing a wethenorth mirror, including this one. The only check that settles the question is a signature verified against a key you already held, which is the argument in PGP is optional paperwork.

The three strings above share their opening characters, which is a feature of how the set was generated and also the reason eyeballing them is unreliable. A vanity generated address can match a prefix cheaply. It cannot match the middle, and the middle is the part your eye turns into texture rather than reading. That entry covers the arithmetic.

A note on where you found this page

This site ranks in search results like any other, and its position there is not evidence about it. It has no more standing than any other page carrying a wtn market url, and it says so on the about page as well. Judge it on whether the reasoning holds up, on whether it stays consistent over time, and on the fact that it declines to tell you the one thing every visitor wants to hear, which is that a particular address is working right now.
